Montevideo is the capital of the República Oriental del Uruguay and has about 1,500,000 inhabitants.

It is on the banks of the Río de la Plata and its waters blend with those of the Atlantic Ocean. It has a great coast of beaches and very picturesque and diverse neighborhoods.

During the summer, the city celebrates the longest carnival in the world, with its famous parades of “Llamadas” and “Murgas”. It is a beautiful city to visit and is very close to the beautiful and popular tourist cities of Punta del Este and Colonia.
